Hornick Auto Sales and Service began when Frank Hornick started selling cars out of a small garage in 1940. Eventually, through hard work and tremendous dedication, Ron Hornick, Frank's son, built the establishment in Geistown where it currently stands today. In fact, Ron, with the support of his loving wife Janet, spent countless days mixing cement and putting the building together piece by piece with his own hands in 1956.

In time, the family business grew as Ron's nephew Phil Hoffman began working in the service department in the 1970s. He has made and continues to make enormous contributions not only repairing cars, but also helping with the building's upkeep. Phil currently runs day-to-day business in the service department as service manager.

Despite the success of the business, tragedy struck on March 9th, 1979 when Barry Hornick passed away. However, the family pulled together after Barry's tragic passing and the business continued to develop. In honor of Barry Hornick, the road commonly used as the main entrance to the business was re-named Barry James Place.

Later, in 1984 Tim Schultz, who currently owns and manages the sales department, joined the business when he married Alyson Hornick. The business saw many upgrades in 2002 upon the completion of a new sales office, which allowed the expansion of both the lot and auto-detailing and reconditioning capabilities.

In addition, Ron's grandson, Ronald J. Hornick, and Tim and Alyson's son, Timothy Jr., began working at Hornick Auto Sales during the 2000s. Together both Ronald J. and Timothy Jr. add to the rich tradition of Hornick Auto Sales by overseeing auto-detailing and internet sales.

In brief, the world has changed greatly since the 1940's, but the establishment of Hornick Auto Sales and Service continues to offer customers the same great service and quality vehicles.
